The greatest among the sword-singers were known as 'Saints of the Sword', or Ansei in Yoku. Neverwinter nights for mac download. Ansei had the ability to manifest a sword from their very soul, known as a Shehai or 'Spirit Sword'. 1 By sheer force of will, an Ansei warrior could create this ethereal sword of pure thought and it would take shape in their hand. DEAD/INACTIVE SINCE 2015 The Great Sword Art Online RPG Bukkit/Spigot 1.8.1 Server Mod. Sword Art Online Mod 16 Swords! 0.0.3 1.3.1 New. See that # there, that one right there? Yeah that one. That's the # used when we have Irrelevant Day which is the date this post was made. Please look into it if you see this # before accusing me or other people of being off topic. It simply saves me, you and others time. Thank you!
Soooooo this be something I have wanted to talk about for a good while. If you've talked to me there's a chance that you know I really really really really really really love playing fully modded out Elder Scrolls VI Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls series overall but when it comes to modding the games Skyrim be my favourite but vanilla it be Morrowind.
So by the title of this I'm sure you can tell but I'm going to be showing some Skyrim mods I like. I'll do 5 for this post in no particular order when it comes to how much I like it and if I feel like it I'll make this a regular thing for each Irrelevant Day. All these mods here are ones I have downloaded on the original Skyrim for PC, not special edition. No idea if the mods I list will be on console but they are on the Nexus or Steam Workshop. I'll try to focus on the mods where I can fully talk about it and not small mods. So say like a mod that adds some survival feature I will talk about but a mod that just simply adds a new weapon or two I won't. Mods that are like two separate mods but clearly intended to be downloaded together will be put together in one category. With that said let's goooooooo
SkyUI
If Gabe Newell is the god of the entire of Steam then SkyUI is pretty much the god of all gods when it comes to Skyrim modding for both modders and people who use mods. Even those who don't really mod. So what does this mod do? Well first of all we'll get the simple stuff. So as you may know the UI for Skyrim is a bit shit isn't it? Very console favoured also. This mod first changes everything for the UI. Inventory searching, bartering, crafting, favourites menu pretty much everything is now changed to favour PC. Adds things like better quick keys and a search bar for your inventory and map. There are also other little things like showing your active effects shown at little icons.
Now the best best best best thing about this mod and the greatest thing we've ever been given in the Skyrim modding as a whole. It adds a mod configuration menu. This is basically compatible with any and all mods if the mod author wishes it to be. Pretty self explanatory what it does but it will let you configer mods you may have. Got a survival mod where you need to eat and sleep but want to lower it a bit so it takes longer before your character gets hungry, well now you can do it. Got a blood texture mod and want to up the anti on it so it shows more well now you can. More and more and more. Thanks to this you've got so much more freedom with the mods you have and that's why this is simply the best mod for Skyrim.
Cival War Overhaul
So I did love this mod back when I had it so still want to talk about it despite it not being available anymore. Basically thanks to the stupidity of the mod author hiding the mod for political reasons mainly due to the American Election. Regardless lets get onto the mod.
So if you've done the vanilla Civil War in Skyrim (P.S IMPERIALS ALL THE WAY. DOWN TO THE STORMCLOACKS) you'd know that the quest line for it to put it another way is unbearably shit. Just far too simply questlines of capturing forts and one of missions actually feeling like you're doing something. It was in a real need of a fix and that's what this mod does.
First of all it fixes the way the soldiers on each side react, simple but needed. Ever got annoyed how if you saw an archer say if you're doing the battle for Whiterun they'd still be around the same place as the regular soldiers. Stupid right? Well now with this they be way back in actual archer defensive positions. Entirety new soldiers are added to each sides too. Such as mages and even different tamed animals. It's much better than cutting through nord after nord after nord after nord. It got boring very quickly.
There are little features too like how if you're wearing Imperial Armour and go into a Stormcloak owned city you'll get attack, cause you know. You could be a soldier ready to attack.
Now we got the big meaty goodness of this mod which is the best part of it. So now when it comes to the big battles of the civil war instead of capturing fort after fort after fort then suddenly going to the main city of the apposing side now you yes still have to capture forts but now you'll also need to do things like finding information about the other cities controlled by the enemy side and also capture them but also also now you'll need to defend these cities too if the enemy side raids a city controlled by your side and yes you can now actually win and lose battles including the defending ones. So it could now even get to the point where you could even lose the Cival War. Yeah actions can have consequences now in this.
There could even be more of this mod I missed out or forget about. The mod simply added so much. Just such a shame the mod was removed for such a stupid reason.
Immersive Weapons and Armour
Now these two may be two different mods but made by the same chap and basically intended. First we'll star of with Immersive Weapons. This mod basically adds a grand total of 230. That's righttttttt 230. They call allllllll be used by NPCs also which is fan fan fan fan fan fantastic. So no more seeing all the enemies having steel weapon after steel weapon after steel weapon after steel weapon.
Although it doesn't add entirely new weapon types with new animations it does add different types for already existing weapon type if that makes sense and will have it's different advantages. So for example swords. It adds a cutlass type which has the normal reach of a sword but less stagger but obviously cheaper and less materials needed to make and then we could have a katana which has more reach than a regular sword but less chance to stagger. There are still various other types in different classes. Such as staffs for the Warhammer class, clubs for the mace class, scythes for the battleaxe class, Nodachi for the greatsword class. It's simply amazing how much word and care was put into this.
Immersive Armours is a bit simpler to explain. It adds 55 new full sets of different armour types and also different variants and 396 new shields. It even adds different side sets for armour such as eye patches, earrings, capes and more. It is also linked to quest rewards skills trees and level scaling for enemies. Some armours are also worn by different NPCs in cities. For example Jarl Ulftic will now wear armour more fitting to him.
Alternate Start - Live Another Life
So are you tired of when you start a new game of Skyrim and you have to do the same intro over and over and over and over again watching the same thing again again and again. Gets kinda repetitive doesn't it? Well this mod is here to fix that. It adds more of an RPG element to the game where instead of starting in the usual carriage cutscenes it places you in this abandoned prison and it says you've been left there by the guards as shown in the journal entry on your quests page. Then all you have to do is approach a Mara Statue that appeared and pick the way you want to start your new save in Skyrim.
Want to be a simple camper just camping in the wood? Well now you can Want to be just arriving on a ship to Skyrim? Well now you can. Want to be an already established adventure exploring a dwemer ruin? There are even race exclusive choices also that makes sense. Such as starting as working in the Windhelm docks if you're an Argonian or perhaps starting in one of the strongholds if you're an orc. There's so much interesting choices to pick from and is far better than needlessly having to start of with some crazy action packed beginning. Nice thing also is this is a good mod also if you don't want dragons involved in Skyrim. Unless you go to Helgen to investigate the attack dragons will never spawn in the world which is a nice needed touch.
Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim
Soooo magic in Skyrim ey. It's painfully simple isn't it and quite boring when it comes to the verity to the spells. Well this Mod aims to fix that very annoying problem. It adds a grand total of 155 new spells to the game 31 in each school of magic. Adds their own unique animations to the new spells and enemies who use magic will use it and be appropriate to their school and level. The spells are added naturally into the game and can be bought and looted just like the vanilla spells.
Examples of spells are as such.
Alteration
Has a spell that while used will increase movement speed and carry weight. Spells that will lay down a spike trap that has a chance to harm an enemy. Spells that lets you swim faster for a select amount of time. A spell that while being used in one hand will increase the damage of the spell used in the other hand.
Skyrim Sword Art Online Mod
Conjuration
For the most part these simply add new things to conjur but adds more to it. Such as being able to conjur the thing you just last killed. Summon a Dead Eye Captain that if they kill an enemy there is a chance that they can take the power from that enemy.
It still adds other stuff too though. Such as conjuring a rune that will force the nearest enemy towards it.
Destruction
This one aims to give more spells to damage but also having their own extra effect.
Things such as rift bolt which does the usual simple electric damage but also sends the enemy it's used on backwards. A fire spell that when used if another enemy is nearby it will half the damage but will damage both enemies if close enough. Also add spells to encourage not t spam the same spell. Such as an ice spell that has a damage on the more lower side but will put a shard in the enemy and if hit by another ice spell it will explode, damaging both the enemy it hits and nearby ones.
Illusion
Quite mixed with what this does but again is used to encourage the player to be more creative with the spells they use and how they play. Such as a spell that when used turns you invisible for a set amount of time but when the time runs out you'll go back to the place where you cast the spell. Another spell that if used on an enemy while casting a spell and before they use it will make the spell bounce back to the enemy damaging them. Adds some little fun crazy stuff to. Like being able to see through the eyes of an enemy for a set amount of time. Perhaps one that lets you switch places with the enemy you cast it on.
Restoration
These ones still add healing type spells to the game but also adds more interesting things also that isn't just healing. Examples are as such. A spell that will heal you very quickly and random NPCs or enemy nearby. More creative ways of healing like a spell that will heal you of 35% of health of the last enemy that was killed
Then the more difficult stuff such as a spell that if used on a dead enemy will create a poisonous virus that will damage nearby enemies. Another one being a spell that if used and hits an enemy will absorb their health for a set amount of time.
I haven't mentioned all of even the majority of the spells added. The ones mentioned also were more of the lower to mid level spells. The higher up spells are simply crazy crazy crazy and definitely worth it. Some of these spells may seem random yeah and some might seem unneeded but I think it's good to adding to the RPG element Skyrim needs.
